This whole thing is an even bigger failure than anybody thinking of bringing some sort of joke gun to the snowball fights in D.C. this weekend.

What, too soon?  Maybe in a city with less of a sense of humor than NBC’s 10 p.m. lineup for the past few months, but that shouldn’t have stopped somebody coming up with that idea.

Who knows maybe they’ll get another chance, since another foot of snow is about cripple the great Washington, D.C.-area this afternoon.  This must be a bittersweet moment for many Republicans living around here, since this (in their mind’s) provides hard data that global warming is fake, but at the same time… so much snow, it’s like the worst disaster to happen to western hemisphere!  When are Bill Clinton and George Bush team up to give money to the poor Mid-Atlantic states that desperately need cash to clear the snow away from their BMWs and Mercedes?!

Pros: This thing probably wasn’t always the big pile of fail it is now, which we hope is also true for Washington, D.C., and we mean that on every level.
