Latfat’s D.C. editor’s day job is actually a full-fledged member of the D.C. media.

We know right? But it’s true!

He spent the weekend of what has been officially dubbed the “Snowmageddon,” working 12 hour days talking to people who were either complaining about their streets not being plowed, why their power hadn’t been restored yet and wondering how much the power companies were giving us to stay quiet about their failure to not provide full power to everybody two hours after the storm was done, or why weren’t mentioning how this storm refutes all claims about global warming.

Suffice it to say, it was a shitty weekend.  The only highlight?  Staying in a sweet hotel on the company dime for a few nights.

So, we can say unequivocally that this tumblr’s coverage of the snowmageddon was complete and utter shit.

Pros: At least Obama didn’t call us wimps this time.  What the District really can’t handle, and by that we largely man D.C.’s Mayor, is even the wimpiest of insults.
