Zooey Deschanel is a major point of contention here at Latfat.

One of us wonders if he is the only one not obsessed with her, and thinks she’s “fucking pretentious,” with her only saving grace being her cuteness.

The other thinks that she could be described simply as “the best,” so long as she stays away from Jim Carey and M. Night Shyamalan movies.

But we can both agree that the Tumbltard hard on for Zooey fills an entire tall boy, and that tumblrs devoted to posting pictures of a particular celebrity (no matter how great awful great awful great) is a waste of energy.

It’s just a shame that all the effort put into tumblrs like this one aren’t used for social activation and mobilization. (We’re advocating for the internet to get preachier and more sincere. It’s a new decade, the fun is over.)
